Michael Lytton is a 47 year old father and software engineer who was diagnosed with ALS in 2010. Hear his story in a recent TV feature for Eugene's KVAL station. He has been raising awareness about ALS through Twitter and other social media.
To communicate online, Michael has found the Word Predictor software beneficial. The Word Predictor was developed by student volunteers at previous SS12: Code for a Cause competitions. Michael says their efforts are "not only helping me stay productive - but they have given me hope."
We wish Michael all the best in his battle against ALS. To learn more about him and his journey, follow him on Twitter @mglytton
